Razor Fist's cut death in the deleted scene expands on the character greatly. Razor Fist is a character with plenty of future potential as well as cut content, as Munteanu's has also teased an additional Shang-Chi deleted scene that would explore the character's backstory. Razor Fist then sacrifices his life to help Katy get the bow that she uses to strike the Dweller in Darkness, before being claimed by one of the creature's minions and having his soul consumed. During the scene, Katy (Awkwafina) is seen panicking and hiding from the Dweller's minions, with Razor Fist comforting her and encouraging her to fight on. In a recently released deleted scene, it is revealed that Florian Munteanu's Razor Fist originally died in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
